Short list (no frills) this week as I am on the road in Pittsburgh. Always fun to visit a new city and this is my first flight post-pandemic, so I am excited to get traveling again.

>> If music is more your style, then on Sunday the 20th, swing by for Rhythm By The River - A Festival Celebrating Black Voices. This will be a festival celebrating some of the most exciting and innovative Black voices in Broward County from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM in Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. (Free)
>> Friday night is also free music, this time at The Loop. The Goodnicks will be performing at Las Olas Oceanside Park to kick off the 2022 season of Friday Night Sound Waves. This guitar driven pop / rock band will get your feet moving and heart pumping with songs you know and love from the 80’s to today as well as some original tunes. (Free)
>> Starting March 19th, explore the beauty and diversity of orchids in this breathtaking exhibit of live orchid floral displays set among the lush tropical gardens of Flamingo Gardens. Beauty of Orchids includes over 1000 orchids in bloom and an original orchid inspired music installation by Juraj Kojš each weekend. ($$)
